| Emissions Technology The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has endorsed an aggressive plan for voluntary diesel retrofits on existing vehicles in the USA. A major component of the EPA's plan is the use of ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel (15 ppm). This fuel will be mandated in the U.S. by 2007 for on-highway use and is required for all particulate use.
